WHO WE ARE

Our Story

Crosspoint started in 2006 with a dream to plant a healthy, growing church in north Cape Coral.  150 people were sent by First Christian Church of Ft. Myers and Crosspoint began meeting at Mariner High School.  After 6+ years of being a portable church, we had the opportunity to purchase property for a permanent location. We relocated to our current campus in 2011 and through God’s faithfulness we were able to expand and move into a new worship/children’s space in 2018.  God has continued to be faithful and Crosspoint has continued to grow as we have been able to live out our mission to connect people to Christ and community.

Our Mission

To Connect People to Christ & Community

Our Purpose

Love God. Love People. Share Jesus

Our Values

The Bible is our authority for life. God has spoken to us through the Bible and we recognize it as the final authority for our lives.

Life happens best in authentic community. Accountability, belonging, care and spiritual growth happen best with relationally-connected believers.

Pointing people to Jesus should be a daily habit. Our primary mission in life is to point people to Jesus. We do this by building relationships and speaking the language of our culture.

Christ followers use their gifts to serve our community and each other. Every believer has been gifted by the Holy Spirit. God intends for us to use those gifts to serve our community and the church.

God desires an intimate, growing relationship with each of us. Study, worship, prayer and other disciplines bring us closer to God and should be nurtured habits.

God’s grace is extended freely. God extends grace to all of us and we’re compelled to do the same for others.

We follow a big God. We believe in God’s power to do incredible things in people’s lives.

Our Beliefs

...that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God who died for our sins and rose from the dead.
(I Corinthians 15:1-8)

...that the bible is the inspired Word of God — a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. (2 Timothy 3:16)

...that every person has worth as a creation of God, but that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

...that forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:16)

...that those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him. (Romans 10:9, Acts 2:38)

...that the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to save the lost and edify the saved. (Ephesians 4:1-16)

...that Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as the King of kings and Lord of lords.
(I Thessalonians 4:13-18)
