What is Summer of Service?

Summer of Service is not a one-day-fits-all initiative, rather a season of posturing ourselves towards a heart of servitude. Summer of Service provides an opportunity to serve as a church family and reach our local community with the love of God through practical acts of kindness. Simple acts of selfless love can open hearts to Jesus, and together we can make a difference!

Pick one project or a few. Serve as a family, life group or with a few friends for even more fun!

Opportunities July 22-28

Find a variety of opportunities to choose from this week.  Let's work together to show our community we are For The Cape!
- Make postcards for Night to Shine Guests- SPOTS FULL

Opportunities July 24 or July 27

Back to School can provide a big financial strain on many families. Let’s help relieve some of this burden while having some fun too. July 27 from 10-12:30  is our GO Back to School Bash, where our GO neighborhood families will play fun activities and receive a backpack full of age appropriate supplies. All sign up spots are now full. If you wish to participate by donating, you can do so by going to Crosspoint's Giving Page and selecting "School Partnerships" from the drop down menu.

Opportunities available July 31-August 9

Teachers, administrators, and school professionals work so hard, that we would love to bless them by serving breakfast. We will create a beautiful spread of grab and go style breakfast food for the school personnel. There will be opportunities to help prep the food trays, serve, set up, and tear down the breakfast. We will be blessing Mariner High, Mariner Middle, and Oasis Elementary North this year.
